How your inputs are used
Birth details are sent over an encrypted connection to a Cloudflare Worker to calculate the chart. Casting and card-draw endpoints do not need your question. Wenbu does not write birth details, questions or readings to its server database or put them in page URLs.
Single readings send the chart, question and selected context to the official DeepSeek API after you check the disclosure. Sending an Agent message shares up to 16 recent messages, 6 recent charts, 2 report versions and the birth details, notes and journal entries you explicitly select. DeepSeek processes them under its own privacy policy; Wenbu cannot promise zero retention on the provider’s behalf.
Conversations, local journal and exports
Saving writes a record to this browser’s localStorage, retaining the most recent 100 entries. There is no automatic cloud sync. Other users of a shared browser may access the records, and clearing browser storage removes them.
Agent conversations save automatically in this browser. Delete individual conversations, export JSON or download reports as Markdown. Deselecting context does not erase already shared history; a new conversation starts fresh. Tasks stop when the page closes, and received results survive reloads. Storage failures show a backup warning.
Research searches Wenbu’s library and curated catalogue. External reading requests only listed public page URLs, without adding your question or birth details. Source websites may still process server request metadata.
You can remove individual entries, undo a removal on the current page and export JSON backups. Agent exports can be previewed and omit original birth details unless selected. A chart or personal question may still be sensitive even without a birth date.
Free allowances and infrastructure
Cloudflare processes request IPs for abuse controls. The AI allowance uses a daily keyed hash; persistent storage holds only dates, hashes and counts with expiry cleanup. Edge rate limiting is not user identification, and people on a shared network may share an allowance.
The application does not log request bodies, include ad trackers or read external chats, files or location. Cloudflare infrastructure and DeepSeek model processing remain subject to their respective policies.
Feedback and updates
Updated September 28, 2026. Use the GitHub project for feedback, without including birth details, private conversations or credentials in public issues. Remove local records in the journal or clear this site’s browser storage.
